Good size and easy to swallow. They are a bit larger than garlic pills for comparison.I don't have any side effects.I don't feel any smarter yet :) but hopefully it is good for overall health over the long term.

I have used the CheongKwanJang brand of liquid ginseng for awhile now. Like all vitamins, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and while you don’t really know if it’s “working,” as someone who has lived overseas and traveled to South Korea a dozen times, I know for a fact they swear by it and have for centuries. This pill is easy to take, has no taste, and is quite a bit cheaper than the liquid pouches.

I’m not sure why the product is called ginseng ‘plus’. There are no other ingredients in addition to ginseng except for those added to make the capsules and keep them fresh. It also contains soybean, which personally I’m not a fan of.CheongKwanJang is a big brand in ginseng supplements and their liquid ginseng is the ‘plus’ one because it contains goji berries and ginger in addition to ginseng. The pills are 180mg extract but it doesn’t say the ratio of the extract and the percentage of ginsenosides.It’s a good product but missing some details to inform the ingredients, and it’s it as strong as the liquid Korean ginseng.

I started taking Ginseng supplements recently after a long hiatus. It does elevate your energy level somewhat and may contribute to a good feeling. This product feels the same as others, but is a half or a third the cost of some other brands. I don't know why that is. One matter that concerns me is about this product, and indeed most of its competitors, is that no independent assurance of quality is provided (such as 3rd party testing for purity, GMP certification, or other external oversight). It is worth more than the one star I took off because of this concern regarding quality.

This is a Korean Red Ginseng extract presented in medium-sized Softgels. This is an import, manufactured directly in Korea. The bottle arrived with a child-resistant outer cap, an easy-pull inner seal and, humorously, a small piece of bubble wrap where packing cotton normally appears. There were no problems noted with the softgels.I appreciate the fact that no dosing games are played here. The bottle contains 30 softgels, each softgel contains 180mg of Korean Red Ginseng root extract. Note that this product is not gluten-free, containing both wheat and soy ingredients.
